Alpha Omega show this friday!!

I will have some new works up with the oakland based art collective Alpha Omega at Ear Peace records this Friday in Berkeley. You can view the event here Make sure to attend, as this will be a great night with some amazing artists.

Under The Radar group Show October 5th!

What up folkes, I have recently moved again and have been getting the new place together along with creating some new work for some upcoming projects. I will be in a upcoming group show called Under the Radar in October at Rock Paper Scissors in Oakland. The show is based on the Solano Alley mural project started by Chris Granillo. The show will feature art from many artists who have painted in the alley since the project started a year ago.

The soft opening will be Oct 4th 6-9pm. The first friday opening will be Oct 5th 6-9pm. Please come out and support Oakland artists.

Sketch Tuesdays at 111 Minna Gallery SF

If your in the city tomorrow night stop by 111 Minna gallery. I have been invited to participate in their monthly Sketch Tuesdays which features established and emerging artists creating live works of art on a small scale. This is a good chance to meet local artists such as myself and pick up some great pieces of art at an affordable price.

Two shows going down this Friday April 6th!!

This Friday I will have work up in two shows. The first show is at Macla Gallery located in San Jose. I have some work in their 14th annual Latino Art Auction.



I will also have some work in "Woakland up", a group exhibit featuring artists from the east bay. This will be located at the Paradiso in Oakland coinciding with the Oakland Art Murmur.

This is a new piece I have just finished. The title is "Staying True". This painting is about having strength and faith in who you are. Expressing how you truly feel. Not living up to anyones expectations but your own.

Ocean of Waste Online!!

Hello everyone, I wanted to provide people who were unable to attend my show a digital version so they could see what I created. I'm really proud of this series and glad to have been an artist in residence for SVdP of Alameda.

Ocean of Waste Art Reception and Redux Gallery Grand opening!

Currently I am an Artist in Residence for St. Vincent de Paul in Oakland, CA. This center collects reclaimed materials from the community and finds new use for them. I have had the wonderful opportunity of being granted a studio at this location, where I was given free reign to roam through the many recycled items on their lot and create works of art from them.

The title of this show is called “Ocean of Waste,” as I wanted to emphasize on the drastic effect our trash on the ocean. The vast ocean seems to be the modern day junkyard with oil spills, off shore dumping, and plastic waste. This has had a dramatic effect, not only on the ocean wild life, but also on the planet itself. My goal is to creatively illustrate the vital relationship between people, waste, and the ocean.

Please join me in celebrating the Grand Opening of the new Redux Gallery/Studios and the reception for “Ocean of Waste.”

Residency for St.vincent de Paul of Alameda County!

I'm in the last month of my residency for St.Vincent de Paul of Alameda county. The residency includes a studio to work in and access to anything I find at their reclaimed materials facility.

I'm currently starting a new series of paintings on paper. Here is a sneak peek into what I have been working on so far.

So I wanted to share some ideas I have been working on for various projects. The colored sketch is for an upcoming mural project. The other is for a possible art residency coming up in Oakland.
